Genus of more than 340 species of climbing plants, native to tropical and subtropical areas.
Latin name: Cissus discolor
They grow in partial shade, in fertile, well-drained soils.
Propagate by semi-woody cuttings in summer, using mist propagation with bottom heat.
Evergreen climber with large oblong, heart-shaped bicoloured leaves, which are rich green and gray above and maroon beneath.
In non tropical climates it is popular as an indoors climbing plant.
