Annual, poisonous plants, similar to those of the Brugmansia genus. Their main difference consists in the fact that Datura species are annual plants with upright, funnel-shaped flowers, whereas the Brugmansia genus contains shrubs with pendent, funnel-shaped flowers.
Spiny fruits.
They grow in full sun and in fertile, well-drained soils.
Plant alone.
Propagated by seeds.
